This tiger image is a test sample from the Gemini Watermark Remover open-source project. The result was processed with this site’s automatic image tool.
The two detail crops show the same 96 × 96 area. Only the detected 48 × 48 watermark footprint was changed.

The original is provided by the MIT-licensed project; Google generation is not independently verified. WebP previews are compressed; full PNGs and detail crops preserve their pixels. Exact recovery and SynthID preservation are not claimed.
A visible Gemini sparkle can appear in a corner of image exports. This tool targets that visible overlay. It does not detect SynthID or verify whether invisible provenance is preserved.
Automatic mode tries 48 px and 96 px overlay templates and reverse alpha blending when a match is found. It does not guarantee recovery of the original pixels. If matching fails, draw a box and use manual fill to estimate the area from nearby pixels.
Processing runs locally in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded, no account is required, and the result is a PNG at the original dimensions with no new watermark.

Start with the original downloaded image. Screenshots, resizing and recompression can change the overlay and leave traces after processing. Inspect the result; manual fill is an alternative when matching fails.
Supported overlay templates
Auto mode tries 48 px and 96 px templates. Image width alone does not determine which one matches; edited or different logo variants may not be detected.
SynthID is separate
This tool only edits the visible overlay. It does not detect SynthID or verify whether SynthID or provenance metadata survives processing.
