- MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI

Phones record a rotation flag instead of rotating the pixels. Some players and editors ignore that flag, so the clip plays sideways or upside down. Rotating the video bakes the correct orientation into the pixels so it looks right everywhere.
Pick 90° clockwise, 180° or 270° (90° counter-clockwise) and check the preview. You can also flip the picture horizontally or vertically from the same page.
The rotation is done by FFmpeg WebAssembly inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and the result is an H.264 MP4 with the original audio.
Sideways phone video
If a portrait clip shows lying on its side, try 90° first. If it ends up upside down, use 270° instead.
Upside-down recordings
Videos shot with the phone held the wrong way round need 180°. The width and height stay the same.
Rotate before other edits
Do the rotation first so that crop boxes, watermark boxes and resize presets line up with the picture you actually see.

Frequently asked questions
Does rotating reduce video quality?
The video is re-encoded to H.264 so the new orientation is stored in the pixels. On the High setting the difference is not visible.
Why does my video play sideways in the first place?
The file carries a rotation flag that some apps ignore. Rotating here fixes the pixels themselves so every player shows it correctly.
What formats are supported?
MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV and AVI go in. An H.264 MP4 comes out. Files under about 300 MB and 1080p are comfortable.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, and the file never leaves your device.
